I have to wonder how big of a role money played in this. By that, I mean the temptations that come with amassing the amount of wealth Tiger Woods has. I have seen it happen before, where the wealth and influence goes to the person's head and they lose sight of what they need to be looking at. I am not taking up for what he has done and I agree that he deserves anything his wife may throw at him. @ Robert — Thanks, Robert. I hope that Tiger gets help & is able to stay out of the limelight until after he finishes treatment or counseling.

@ Dominique — I hope that Tiger can recover. The first step for him is admitting that he has a problem & then taking steps to work on whatever issues he has. Michael Vick was able to return to sports & so can Woods. Still, he’ll lose a lot of endorsements along the way and Elin may choose to walk.

It breaks my heart to see Tiger going through this because I have always like him. Perhaps his name “Tiger” will become indicative to his recovery and rally back to a more balanced life.

I agree with you and your commenter that those in the public eye have a much more difficult time of pulling away and getting the help they need and deserve.

Well written my friend.I know and I wish it didn’t take so long for me to realize many of truthful things you’ve said in this blog. Everyone ends up somewhere and when you are famous it makes it more difficult to hide somewhere to heal.
