Federal Perkins Loans

These are low-interest rate loans (5%) available to students with exceptional financial need.

The loan does not charge origination fees.

Direct Loans:
The federal government provides funds to schools.

The school then disburses funds to the student after payment of tuition and other school expenses.

FFEL Loans:

Stafford Student Loans

* Borrower must have at least 21 months credit experience and a satisfactory credit history. Borrowers who don't meet these credit requirements should apply with a credit-worthy co-borrower.

$1,000 up to the full cost of education as certified by your school
Funds disbursed directly to the student and cosigner after it has been certified by the school, if any
