So, if you think that you can’t handle your work in just one day, then don’t make yourself burned out.
Here we got you some usual routine tips to help you avoid overworking:
1. Set a timer
If you know that you have to be prepared for an exam, then try to set an alarm clock, or use your phone to set some timers. You can study at least 50 minutes and spend 10-15 minutes for a break.
Also, don’t forget to set timers for your meals so you won’t forget to eat and have a healthy day. When you do this, you’ll feel a lot better.
2. Don’t study all night
Having a lack of sleep can decrease your immune system and can make it difficult to concentrate. It would be best to study when you wake up early in the morning, like 3 to 4 o’clock a.m., to make sure that you still have plenty of time to study.
3. Move around
When you feel tired and are still not finished studying, then take 10 to 15 minutes to go around during your break. Or you can play with your pet if you’re in your family’s home; if not, then try playing your guitar or doing jumping jacks by your desk. This can help you refresh your mind and also improve your mood and your productivity throughout the day.
4. Schedule every day
Get a notebook, and write all the things that you need to do by tomorrow. This will help you remember that you have projects to be done. Even during your free time, you can schedule it to make sure that everything is on the list; if it’s not, then you might forget it.
5. Take time for yourself
Even if you have a lot to do, you still need to remember that you can’t forget yourself. Find what you love to do, like reading a book or writing in your journal. Just figure out what makes you encouraged to study and keeps you energized. Keep it as a part of your life.
6. Get away from social media
For, me having social media is useful for communication with family and friends. But, don’t overuse it every single day because it can cause a lot of stress. Don’t be afraid to discover new things to have new experiences.
Don’t be disappointed when you’re not good at it; it takes time to learn, but when you learned about it, you’ll enjoy yourself in a new way during your breaks.
7. Get Exercise
Last but not least, is to exercise, don’t wait till you feel stressed and run to the gym or wherever you want to go. Work out for at least 30 minutes a day and keep going at least every three to four times a week.
Exercising should also be on your list; it is important that you keep yourself in a good mood.
