Are you planning to get a degree while handling a full-time job at the same time? Well, you can do it as long as you know how to balance your job and studies.

However, it’s not easy to handle a job while studying at the same time because it takes a lot of effort and requires good planning. To help you control your time while working and studying, here are 5 tips to live much easier:

Create a Good Plan

As a working student, the first thing you have to do is to make sure you get all the important schedules in your different subjects. For example, examination schedules and also the deadlines for the papers required.

After gathering the first semester requirements create your own simple wallboard (or book planner). Then make sure you mark them all with different colors to see when these due dates will be coming up.

Make sure you also mark your schedule in your workplace (like what time you’ll have to go there) and company meetings.

Use Your Free Time

Studying and working at the same time feels like you don’t have time at all. But, there’s a way that can help you manage your work and studies.

Like for example, if you’re a commuter you can read your book. Also after taking a meal for lunch or break time you can also use the remaining time to study (or do your assignment if you haven’t done it yet).

Take Care of Yourself

When you’re working and studying with a heavy work schedule it is impossible not to be stressed, especially if you don’t know what to do when it’s your first time having work while studying at the same time.

Fortunately, there are many ways to reduce stress. For example, you can go for a walk or go to the gym and exercise 20 minutes a day if you can.

If you have a dog you can play with him/her, you can also visit the salon. Doing something you enjoy is the most effective way to reduce stress.

Make Sure You Have Enough Sleep

You should always get a good sleep every day; make sure you wake up at 4 to 5 a.m. and study for a couple hours. And then if you still have time then you can go back to sleep and wake up before your schedule will start.

However, there’s nothing wrong with studying every night as long as you know your limits on what time you sleep and wake up.

other valuable tips:

Eat Properly

When studying while working every day it requires a lot of energy, this means that you’ll have to eat a healthy meal every single day. Having a healthy meal can help you stay focused on what you’re doing.

Conclusion

Being a hardworking student can be very tough at the same time. However, this should not be a barrier for you to finish your studies. Just follow these 5 simple tips and you’ll have great results in the long run.
