For most college students, the academic year has come to an end with grads receiving their degrees and heading off to new challenges and ventures. High school students are next up, meaning the coming weeks will be busy with grads happy to put their school years behind them and parents wondering if that little baby they once held is, indeed, the young man or woman standing in front of the crowd to receive his or her diploma.

Getting Ready For The Upcoming Academic Year

Though it is nearly summer time, we’ll be busy here at SayCampusLife.Com by getting ready for the next academic year which begins in August. Over the coming weeks and months you can expect to find the following subjects covered during summer break:

Moving to College — High school students catch a short break before they have to head off to college. For some, they’ll have a mere six weeks to prepare as a late June high school graduation means early August freshmen orientations. We’ll be rolling out an updated planner and other pertinent information similar to what you can find on our companion site at SayCollegeMove.Com.

Private Student Loans — This coming school year will be especially challenging for families who are seeking funds to pay for college but are finding that scholarships, student aid and tuition breaks are leaving them wanting. Stafford loans are ideal, but we know that they aren’t for everyone. We’ll talk about what types of loans are available through the private sector and explore other ways to cover your costs.

Breaking News — We’ll be keeping up with all of the top breaking news sent our way via our news partners, bringing to you what is interesting, relevant and useful to our readers.  Look for some hard hitting analysis on our part covering the issues that matter most to you!

Football Season — Gasp! You didn’t think we’d wait until August to start talking about some football now, did you? Just before training camps get started, we’ll be doing a sneak preview of the coming season, talk about conferences, top clashes, bowls and some of the stars that we think will shine on the gridiron this fall.

Again, our best wishes to all of the recent college grads and congratulations to this year’s group of high school grads who are about to embark on a new chapter in their lives.
