It’s a matter of networking with others, creating a solid resume and seeking out creative ways to locate humanities jobs. Here are some ways you can utilize a humanities degree after graduation.
Journalism Degrees
For those with a degree in journalism, the opportunities are endless. Prepare a portfolio of the writing samples you’ve done over the years and mail the portfolio along with your resume and cover letter to local newspapers and independent magazines in your area. If you want to work in radio broadcasting you’ll need to prepare some demo tapes and mail them to different radio stations.
