As a student president, it is your duty to ensure that the rights of students are protected and that their demands are taken through the right channels.

It is your duty to ensure that there is a great relationship between students and the administration. This is essentially what businesses are all about.

If you are a student officer, an employer will see that you have great potential to unite the leaders of an organization and their workers. In case of any problems, the organization knows it can trust you to calm their employees down until a solution is found.

You get diversity

Organizations are looking for people who are diverse – people who can deal well with people from other cultures and ethnicities. These groups of people are who you will be meeting in your line as a leader.

Students come from all walks of life and from everywhere in the world. Learning how different people respond to situations and what kind of language they find offensive – this will help you develop your skills in the presentation and implementation of ideas.
