10 Simple Habits to Uncomplicate Your Life

10 Simple Habits to Uncomplicate Your Life
  • Opening Intro -

This life can be extremely stressful.

As stressful as it already is, there are things that we unconsciously do that makes it even more stressful.

Yes! Your life can be easier and less complicated.

-------------------------------------

Here are some ways to uncomplicate your life:

Let it go

Just like the song in the Disney movie, Frozen, let it go. Harboring too many negative emotions can hinder your success. The negative emotions are like a dead albatross around your neck. Forgive the people who wronged you and learn from your mistakes. No matter how bad a situation is, something good is going to come out of it. You might not see it right away, but you eventually will if you keep an open mind.

Look upward and forward

Take the lessons you learned from your past experiences and look forward and upward, may it be on love and relationship, career, or family. Do not let the past stop you from trying new things. Life is too short to dwell on failed attempts and bad experiences in the past.

Daily Habits of Successful People: It’s All About Routine:

Look at the glass half full

This is one of the commonly listed healthy lifestyle tips because it helps in decreasing stress. It is not easy to get into the habit of looking at things the positive way. Do not feel bad if you can’t see the good side of things right away. It takes a lot of practice and once it is already in your system, it will become a second nature. Look back on unpleasant experiences and trace what it leads you to. Did you become a better person? Did you end up in a better relationship? Once you master this technique, you will avoid stressing out on little things and focus on more important things in life.

Have a goal

Know what you really want and decide if they can be achieved in long-term or short-term basis. Having a goal makes it easier to decide where to focus your energy. Being able to see something come out of your efforts can be very rewarding. However, don’t beat yourself up. Be realistic in setting your goals. Know your strengths and weaknesses and give yourself ample time to achieve them.

Set Priorities

If you have too much on your plate, it’s difficult to choose what to do first. Decide what matters to you most. Is it love and relationship, family, or career? Knowing your priorities makes it easier to make decisions. Setting priorities help avoid feeling overwhelmed and feeling out of balance.

Quit comparing yourself to other people

Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, and no one has a perfect life. Do not believe everything you see on social media. Behind those smiles, there could be tears. Behind those fancy vacations, there could be debts pilling up. Everyone is facing their own battles. Set your own pace. You don’t need to have the same time table as the next person.

Know that you cannot please everyone

Even if you were the sweetest peach in the world, someone would still hate peaches.  Do what you think is right. If other people do not like it, then so be it. There is absolutely no way that you can please everyone. Follow your heart and follow your conscience and you should be good to go.

Set up routines

Setting up a routine does not mean that you have to lead a monotonous and boring life. Having a routine means having time to accommodate unexpected things and to new and exciting ideas.  Setting up a routine allows efficient time management. It takes away the stress of running out of time. If you can’t follow your routine, try again the following day. If your routine does not work for you, try a new one until you find the one that works best for you.

Stay away from drama

Life is already stressful as it is; don’t add more drama to it. Likely, stay away from people who love creating it. These kinds of people are toxic to your own happiness. Life is too short to be miserable. Surround yourself with people that make you smile and bring the best out of you.

Be kind to your self

Can’t follow the healthy lifestyle tips you’ve wanted to apply to yourself? That’s alright, try again or think of other ways to integrate it in your own life. We were taught from a very young age to be kind to other people, but most of us were not taught to be kind to ourselves. Stop beating yourself up if you can’t be what other people wants you to be. Recognize your weaknesses but most of all appreciate your strengths. Get to know that beautiful person inside you.
