Having a strong presence on social media is key to attracting prospective students, but plenty of colleges don’t utilize these tools to their full potential.
As well as posting regularly, be sure to interact with those who respond, for example, by replying to comments and answering questions.

From virtual tours and open days to sample lectures and informative talks, online events can attract huge numbers of participants and generate a lot of interest in your college as a result.

4. Tell stories
Stories are one of the most effective devices for relating to people. Whether it’s alumni stories, your college’s story, or stories of current students, they can be powerful and influential ways of reaching out to prospective students.
You want them to be able to picture themselves attending your college and imagine what it would be like to study with you, and storytelling is an unbeatable way to do this. Stories touch on our emotions far more than facts do, and the truth of the matter is that an emotional pull towards a particular university can be the deciding factor in many students’ decisions on where to study.
